Looks like this day revealed another partnership between two companies: Becker Automotive Design, known for their exclusive unique custom limousine, and STRUT unveiled today a special edition of the Cadillac Escalade ESV which will be sold to the exclusive clientele of Becker. The vehicle features the latest technology like an impressive Apple iPod ready audio-video system featuring satellite HDTV, DVD, and digital surround sound and other high-end components, all controlled by a Crestron touch screen. For those who want to make their Mercedes S-Class more exclusive there’s always Carlsson. The well-known tuner specialised in tuning Mercedes vehicles unveiled today the ultimate limousine: the Carlsson Aigner CK65 RS Blanchimont. Built in collaboration with the leather and lifestyle brand Etienne Aigner AG the car comes with a sporty exterior and an exclusive two-colour paintwork which reminds us of the Maybach. The vehicle comes with a re-designed fron bumper, new side sills, a new rear bumper with carbon fiber ar diffuser and integrated exhaust system and a carbon fiber trunk spoiler.

Under the hood the engine develops an astonishing 705 hp while the torque is electronically limited to 1.100 Nm. With these numbers, the car can hit 100 km/h in 3,9 seconds, just like the latest Mercedes Sl65 AMG Black Series while the top speed is electronically limited to 320 km/h for safety reasons. At the interior everything is custom built and according to the manufacturer the individuality know no limits. Of course the price doesn’t know its limits: the pricing starts at 464.100,00 Euro in Germany and 390.000,00 Euro for export.
Recently launched, the Volkswagen Passat CC received its first customization programme from the German tuning house Abt. Due to the fact that the body kit is currently under development, the car received only engine modifications as it follows: the 1.6 TSI engine develops now 200 hp, with 40 hp more than the standard version while the 2.0 liter TSI found also on the Vw Golf V GTI brings 240 hp.

Polish Street Racers? Sounds like the beginning of a good joke. Well street racing has become no joke in the city of Lodz (pronounced “Woodge”) which has given it the reputation as the Amsterdam of street racing. The younger inhabitants of the city have taken the recent rise in personal wealth and did the only valuable thing with it, dumped it in their cars. Unfortunately most of these boy racers were no Robert Kubica, so the death toll rose with the wealth. Something had to be done.
So what does the city of Lodz do? Legalize it. Why not? After all, making it illegal would only reinforce the outlaw culture of street racing. The government even invested $20,000 in timing equipment, embracing its reputation as the car capital of Poland by hosting monthly races that draw crowds of 70,000 and counting.
Some frown on the "harm reduction" technique Lodz has taken toward criminal activities. Harm Reduction is simply the idea that people will engage in bad behavior, so you might as well attempt to reduce the amount of damage the behavior causes. Lodz has reported that statistics show illegal street racing has declined by nearly 90%.
Last week we told you about the new TECHART GTstreet RS, based on the Porsche 911 GT2 (997), the latest masterpiece from the German tuning house powered by a 700 hp engine. Today the tuner revealed officially all the data about its new car. The vehicle features a new body kit consisting in a front apron GT RS with carbon splitter, new side carbon-flics, aero bonnet, headlight shades, mirror shades, new side sills, a carbon roof spoiler, a rear spoiler GT with winglets and carbon gurney and a rear apron GT RS with carbon diffuser and air outlet as well as carbon air wings.

In order to obtain the astonishing power the tuner added new carbon sports pipes, a high performance intercooler, high-performance header, a new turbocharger, new engine electronics and a sports exhaust system.
Saleen’s SpeedLab unveiled today the SuperShaker, a new technology for air induction systems. The SuperShaker will fit all 2005-current model Mustang GT’s. The SuperShaker kit will increase your total power from 500 – 700HP.
The SuperShaker induction path is much shorter and less restrictive compared to existing designs, and is a true “cold air” intake that is sealed off from the engine compartment, thus enhancing vehicle performance. The SuperShaker induction system sits above the hood and is isolated from the hot air in the engine compartment. This is especially beneficial in static situations such as at stop lights or take off during drag racing. Once up to speed, the shaker hood scoop rams fresh cold air into the air box where it is pressurized, allowing greater boost at higher speeds.
By angling the custom air filter forward, water and debris will be deflected down to the bottom of the air box where it can be evacuated and not affect the performance of the filter. There are two molded pieces that make up and include the air box, providing a skirt that mounts to the rear of the box which protects the compartment from water, debris and environmental hazards. This unique design does not require any extraordinary mounting or securing devices, allowing the air box to utilize the maximum space available within the tight constraints.
After the unveiling of the W204 Black Bison based on the Mercedes C-Class, Wald international revealed a new masterpiece: its customized Bmw M5. Although the M5 body kit is sporty enough this didn’t stop Wald International to improve the aerodynamics of the vehicle.

Their new kit includes a new front lip spoiler with carbon fiber insertions, new side skirts, a carbon fiber lip spoiler and a re-designed rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and exhaust system. Unfortunately no prices were revealed yet, but stay tuned!
Lumma Design, a well-known German tuner unveiled another masterpiece: the Lumma CLR600. Based on the diesel-powered Bmw 635d, the new kit features a front spoiler bumper with PDC and headlight cleaning, flared wings in front and in the back, new side skirts with brake tiser, a tail apron with rear air diffuser, stone guards foil and of course the Lumma CLR600 signature.

In order to improve the stability of the vehicle the tuner added new sport springs which lower the car with up to 30 mm but also 20 inch alloy wheels. For a better sound of the engine a new set of mufflers were added providing also a power increase. Stopping the car will not be a problem thanks to the newly added Brembo brake package, ideal for this type of vehicles.

At the interior everything is custom built and depends on the choice of the customers. According to the manufacturer all the parts come with TUV approval!
Wald International, the well-known Japanese tuning company, unveiled its latest body kit for the Mercedes C-Class. Dubbed W204 Black Bison, the new kit consists in a front bumper spoiler with new fog lights, side steps, a rear bumper spoiler with rear diffuser featuring integrated exhaust system, roof spoiler and a rear wing.

The new kit consists in a re-designed front bumper, side sills, a new trunk spoiler and a re-designed rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and double pupe exhaust system. According to the manufacturer the body kit comes with a warranty of 5 years. No words about the price yet!
